Walk and Talks
PSG's Walk and Talks bring together citizens, planners, architects, developers, and elected officials, to discuss and explore the policies and stories behind development opportunities in urban, suburban, and rural locations.
In 2010, we toured Manchester, Innsbrook, New Kent, and a green, historic building in Downtown Richmond. Trip Pollard's report, Smart Growth is Smart Economics, co-released by the Southern Environmental Law Center at the River City Saunter, profiles each location and illustrates the obstacles and opportunities for smarter growth in our region.
In 2011, we toured Lincoln Mews in Richmond's Northside, Bandana Farm in Hanover's Beaverdam District, and Bon Secours Virginia's Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville. Trip Pollard's report, Healthy Community Choices, will profile each location and will be released at the River City Saunter. Learn more about Healthy Community Choices and 2011's Walk and Talks.
