Bike and Pedestrian Initiative
The Richmond region receives low rankings on accessibility and safety for bicyclists and pedestrians. PSG has teamed up with Richmond Area Bicycling Association and Virginia Bicycling Federation to do the following:
- Identify and raise awareness for bike/ped infrastructure opportunities in each locality;
- Promote the connection of these local infrastructure opportunities into a regional, statewide, and national network; and
- Position the region and localities for federal, state, and local funding for an improved active transportation network.
